Oh and now I can go get revenge on the (MPG) mad player gutter!!! He hangs by the beach pretends to be your friend and then guts you. You might recognize him if he is playing a Ranger class as he is missing his hat and is clean cut. Stay clear!!! If he is on voice you can tell it's him by the way he identifies things. Often refers to things as "you know what I mean", "the road that airplanes land on", "the kinda half moon building", "the bullet holding thingy". I think it's some kind of sick code. Not to be confused with Doc. You can tell it's Doc when you see a sheep. Ask the player what is that over there and if he says goat you are safe, but anyway he still has his hat as a visual reference.

Oh and if you think the player may be the MPG. Keep your distance and ask him where he is. If he says "I don't know. I am lost" just shoot him or run away.

That's direct through the woods.
By road it's 238 steps dead, 249 steps dead and so on :)

Oh we got IEDed really early this morning crossing the bridge up north (where all the pigs go). It was kind of awesome. Oddly enough there were 4 or 5 of us in the truck and nobody died.
I had a dog for a long time but he vanished in the dark during a one sided fire fight. Not sure if he was killed or just frightened off.
I miss him already. He was a good dog. Not too bright, but good just the same.

Interestingly I did find out the dog spawned with me across two CA New Haven servers.

Cool. I need to switch back to later morning play rather early morning. Staying up until 4 or 5AM is taking a toll.

This morning I get on and was killed on spawn. Doc and his group are bragging about their car and helo filled with stuff. As I got killed right away they say they will pick me up at the beach in their shinny helo. I am standing there and Doc goes Oh no. The others with him say similar but more colorful things. I asked what happened and they say the game crashed. Then mine did too. Problem is they were flying. When they spawn back in the helo is of course not with them. They all plummeted to the ground :)

So you're already playing a mod for Arma3... does that mean the game itself isn't good?

Arma 3 is good although not all that different from Arma 2 as far as game play with improvements. We have been playing DayZ Epoch mod for Arma 2. This is similar to that, but on Arma 3 so we have been playing it. It's pretty much an alpha version of the mod ported to Arma 3.
