Wildstar - anyone interested?

Post by [JiF]Uncle Stinky »

A friend of mine has just started with this game and likes it. I'm surprised I havent' heard about it. The developers are former Blizzard employees who wanted to do a new MMORPG that is not WOW.

If I get it, I'll post which faction/server I'm on.

I've been following the development a little bit and it does look somewhat interesting. I might get it when the price comes down and if I hear good things about it. I just don't like spending $60 bucks on a game I'm not sure I'll stick with long term anymore.

If you buy it, it comes with 3 guest passes. I would happily try it out. ;)

I bought it, and have a character on the Caretaker server. My first toon is on the Exile side, called Stinkette. She is an Esper, a DPS illusionist that wields a big throwing disc. It's a huge change from the drab grays and browns of ESO. So far, it's been fun, and very much tongue in cheek.

I'll try to figure out the guest pass thing. Who else is interested besides Mike?

I don't know if you can friend someone by account, or only by toon. These days I'm mainly playing an Mordesh (aka undead) Stalker named Stinkystalk. She just got to level 10, which unlocks crafting. I like the Stalker style of play best so far.

Yep, I just looked at the restrictions. Party chat, say, and yell only.... Should be able to whisper people on the friends list.

Although my time was brief I liked the game. I'm going on a hiking trip for about 2 weeks starting Sunday, so I don't want to get the game right now and lose out on two weeks. When I get back from my trip though, I'll be back!

Unfortunately I didn't get much play time on the trial, I've been spending a lot of my time getting ready for my trip. This week I need to get my food together and finalize my gear, so I doubt I would be able to play much this week either.

Don't finish the game while I'm gone. ;)
