Looks good to me.
I think I can die nicely in this game.

30 seconds in, the guy with the flame thrower takes cover by the oil tank and Barrels - lets hope the environment is not destructible....

I think ill grab a 4 pack, any one want in? would be ~$12.75 per game.

Just found out that the game "comes with" Red Orchestra 2. You can play the multiplayer maps but theres no single player (Which is multiplayer maps with bots).

Did you ever really get into RO2? I treid it and for some reason it did not grab me. Some combo of the graphics and a kid of jerkiness of play; I thought it really paled in comparison to BF3.

Played it a bit today, so far I'm enjoying it. Plays like a mix of Day of Defeat and Arma. Has more features than your standard shooter but not as complicated as Arma. Movement can be a bit clunky giving it that Arma realism feel. Some of the video effects like motion blur and the sprint zoom can be turned off.

I played 2 different game modes/styles. They have the action mode where you have a cross hair and no free aim movement and it takes a few more rounds to take down an enemy. Also played a bit of the Realism mode which enables the free aim and disables the crosshair. Only takes 1 rifle round in the right area to take someone down. The supression effects are alot more dramatic than BF3 but I seem to like it that way. Incoming mortar/artillery really forces you to hide. While they stay true to the weapons they have added some other bits to keep the game balanced. The Japenese can band together and Bonzai attack which suppresses the enemy while they charge to melee attack. The Japenese can also create IED's with hand grenades and can use the knee mortar.

Does take some time to adjust, the training is basic but offers some practice.

2 copies left and 2 beta passes. If anyone wants to try it out before purchasing ill send a beta pass. I assume if you get the full game you will also receive 2 beta passes to hand out.

It's a sand alone mod on Red Orchestra 2 and I can't get enough of it. It's only in beta form right now which gives some hope for any problems that I can find. You have to play it safe as it's very realistic, like arma, teamwork and capable squad leaders and teamleaders are a must. I've got two extra copies of the Beta to give away on steam. Let me know when you guys play and I'll be there!
