Tell us what you really are saving points up for. How many do you need? Is it a worthy cause?

I have a 55 gallon drum full of empty 2 liter bottles. I could go dig thru and get the caps and send them to you. But how will you reward ME for my coke habit... chuckle.

My initial goal was 10000 points to see free movies at an AMC theater for a year. Then I curbed that down to 1870 points to get a years worth of Blockbuster movie rentals for free. I have 950 points but with the looming deadline (2/27) don't think I will make it. Each bottle cap is worth 3 points, each 12 pack is worth 10.

Another option is to go with the Blockbuster free movie coupons (2 free movies and 1 free popcorn) for a 100 points each or I will keep the current total and see what they offer when they start over again in April. In the 20000 point range are some weekend trips for 4 to different places. So any significant contribution could earn you some free movies or maybe a spot in a cheap vacation.

The company I work for offers free Coke products in the cafe. When the vending company comes by to fill up the fridge, he leaves all the 12-pack empties for maintenance to pick up. So it is an easy score every couple of days.

At first I thought this was just another frivolous lawsuit, but when you run the numbers like they did, you would die if you drank that much coke to win the top prizes.
You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Ummm not that I am a fan of these stupid marketing things, but I don't think any reasonable or any unreasonable person would even think about drinking that much of anything. I do think its somewhat fraudish to put up an unreachable goal. If that is really an unreachable amount to "collect" not "drink". I dunno how the scoring goes.
You can collect them from other people like Thos or like collecting bottles when I was a kid to make money.
Of course maybe Thos already tried to drink all that coke and now cannot get out to get anymore

While I only skimmed over the lawsuit, they mentioned that you were not allowed to combine or join accounts.

I didn't really read it either :D They may have some valid points, but on the surface it looks silly.
Maybe they should leave out the if your really really stupid and try to drink 8 Giga-cokes your will die part

How does that work up there, plug those special codes in for points?

I have an account, but I seldom drink coke. I pick up the caps wherever I go, and bring them home. I even have about 15 on my desk right now, as we speak, that need entering in. I think I'm up to 850 now.
I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to, I guess.
