its a bit heavy....my rule of thumb, for these mods anyway, is "if you can run BF2, then you can handle any mod...lol

hmm so either spend a grand on a new system to be able to play EoD or spend a month holiday at the Gulf of Tonkin for the same money... decisions, decisions, decisions :D

Well, if you are looking for me I am having a bowl of Pho in Nha Trang ~ it is lovely this time of the year lol

Hmm if so... I might have to download it as well :D Is there by any chance a conversion of the old Battlefield Vietnam map "Operation Flaming Dart"? I have just been watching this lovely video:

And realized how much I missed gaming on it ~ for me simply the best bfv map :)

:( damn...

Though, I just checked their mission briefings:

still looks tempting enough to give it a try... hopes this runs on my machine ~

btw. did anyone here travel to the greater "Indochina" area before?

A few reference photos I shot in the area in ´07:

A little bit closer to the HCM trail you start to see more and more US scrap metal.

One of the most heavily bombed areas in Laos. All bombers taking off in Thailand to bomb North Vietnam had the order to unload their ordnance there if they missed their target in Vietnam - it is still a moon landscape in the dry season. And difficult to get to since the corridors that are free to go through are often blocked. An eerie place...
