New Wild West Shooter - Lead and Gold

Post by [JiF]Uncle Stinky »

Hmm, it's not like we need another game to spread us even thinner, but this look interesting.

I just saw this game is now available on Steam. For $14.99, I might take a look. I've always liked a good, Western-themed shooter.

Lead and Gold Wednesdays maybe?

I've had a rough week, so I plan to buy it tonight as a reward.

Did anyone here play the old Lucas Arts game, Outlaws? Not only was it fun, it had an excellent soundtrack.

The mian track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhoM0nph ... re=related

This is my favorite track. Take 4 minutes of your life and give it a listen. The best single track I've heard in a PC game; I love that drum solo that starts around 2:00. Might be cool to use as background for some JiF vids: http://www.youtube.com/watch?lv=HjBZkbIEqNU

I picked this up and have not yet gotten a good feel for it. The multiplayer is more like LFD2 than BC2; e.g., there are specialty maps where one sides has to steal gold sacks form the other. The one map I played was quite small, and the action was a bit too chaotic for my liking. I imagine the conquest-style maps will be more fun.

looks like its made with the system the bf heroes uses
If we make prisons a living hell for them, then we might just be sending out devils once they are released. Cruel methods to achieve discipline are a thing of the past! So, keep on dancing! Byron F. Garcia.

I tried the free weekend and i really like this game.
You pick kits you can use and can defend the town or rob gold.
It reminds me of the Battlefield style games, not BF Heroes.
I'll probably buy this one.

The free weekend isn't over yet.
