Just came by to say hello

Hi JiF people,
i'm playing BF now for a week and mostly on your server, (because of the mature gameplay )
i'm 43 years old and i live in the Netherlands,
I needed a break from AA3 and started out playing BF, the only thing i dont understand is the disconnecting
when there is a switch to an other map. (is this because your server is located in the US and my Ping is too high ?)

Is it disconnecting on every map change?, do you have both expansion packs? Whats you ping size?

Hi thanks for dropping in.

The disconnect thing is probably down to which operating system you are using. It's notorious on Vista. I had a few issues on 7 but have sorted it now.

Hi! I think its the expansion packs. You dont have WWII Anthology? If not you should buy it. Or look after a sharing site...good luck. Hope i see you on the server!

By the way:
the disconnecting problems had nothing to do with online playing,
it also happened while i was on soloplay, So i think my Windows 7 ultimate
is to blame, i will serve the net for sollutions ;-)

Primn -- look in the Tech Talk folder for some info on how to deal with Windows 7 crashes. They worked for me. Try reading this: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3765
