Keyboard Problems

Post by [JiF]Pvt. Harrick »

I have a pretty good keyboard that came with my iMac and recently it has been causing problems, I don't know if it has to do with key configuration, or if somebody just splled something in it, orr that it could even be burnt out from use :P Point is: I'll press a key and recieve something completely different and it has not worked after a few diagnostics.

If it helps:
Model No. A1243
EMC No. 2171
Complies with the Canadian ICES-003 Class B specifications

not wireless

I'm currently using a much worse keyboard with keys that actually work, in place of this one

Have you tried manually assigning the controls in your setup in BF42?

*Edit*

Every now and then you will need to turn it upside and gently bang it on the desk.
This way you remove all the crumbs and any leftover doughnut sprinkles that may be caught between the keys and the key pad underneath.
Last time i did this i found out how sloppy i am when eating cookies.

I don't remember if it helped or not?
