Nor'easter 2008

Post by [JiF]Rhykin »

That's right guys, it has been officially announced! And it's only ... 7 months away :(
Nor'Easter 2008 Announcement
Posted 12-13-2007 by LoneStar[LPANE]

On behalf of the LPANE staff, I am happy to announce that we have secured the date for our Fourth Annual Nor’Easter LAN Party. The Nor’Easter 2008 official dates are Saturday June 28th thru Sunday June 29th at the Shriner's Facility in Wilmington, MA.

Early Bird registration ($30-PrePay) will open on February 1st thru February 29th (You get one extra day because it’s a leap year!). Standard PrePay ($40) will remain from March 1st up to June 20th. Once PrePay expires, the Door Price ($50) will go into effect. True, this is a bit late for an actual Nor’Easter to occur, but we can always turn up the AC to make it feel like April…

This is sure to be the first of many posts for information on this upcoming LAN, so stay tuned and make sure to check out the forums!

I'm certainly going. *marks off the calendar now*

Where are we going to sit?

It's kinda like a 2 day late bday present for me :D it's gunna suck if it gets hot out...they should have kept it in the spring...give it a few years though and we'll have a fall Nor' Easter if they keep postponing on their projected schedule!

Well sorry to say but I doubt I will be there since its in June this year. I had some time set back in the spring to go but at the end of June I just don't think I can get away.

My guess is that there was a scheduling problem with The Shriners??

June?!?

Crap.

My wife's due date is early June.
Doubt I'll be going with a newborn taking up all my time.

Man, I'm itching to go already.. and it's not even 2008 yet.

Personally, I'm glad it's in June since at any given time in May, I could be anywhere in the world (literally).

Ez-Kill is bummed out also as June wont be a good time for him either. We are both going to see if we can manage to work things around so we can come out there but wont have any idea till it gets closer to that time.
