Solid State HDDs

Anyone have any opinions on Solid State HDDs?
I know they are EXPENSIVE but they are extremely fast.
I plan on using one for my OS only on my new build (games/apps will run from a WD Raptor)
but before I commit it to my budget
I was just wanting to hear from you guys if you've had any personal experience with them
or if you just have just an opinion.
