Ouch. We had lightening hit a tree in our backyard in GA. It was maybe 50 feet from the house. Talk about loud. No damage fortunately other than we lost a beautiful oak tree.

I did a lot of fishing when I was younger, then I moved to places where it is hard to find anyplace to fish. Down south it was so swampy you needed a boat. Not much water in Ohio except for a few rivers.
