Re: Wildstar - anyone interested?
I bought it, and have a character on the Caretaker server. My first toon is on the Exile side, called Stinkette. She is an Esper, a DPS illusionist that wields a big throwing disc. It's a huge change from the drab grays and browns of ESO. So far, it's been fun, and very much tongue in cheek. I'll tr...

Wildstar - anyone interested?
A friend of mine has just started with this game and likes it. I'm surprised I havent' heard about it. The developers are former Blizzard employees who wanted to do a new MMORPG that is not WOW. If I get it, I'll post which faction/server I'm on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-284gxrE8fo[/v...

Re: BF42 reunion this Saturday?
Had a great set of battles last night - at one point I think we had 15 or 16 players. A few maps it was me, Gav and Brick vs about 5 or 6 others, and we the Jiffers had scores 50+ and the others were struggling to break 10.
I may make thia a regular Saturday tradition.

OK, so you could use it to conquer all the fishing holes on the lake!
But as someone mentioned, where are the brakes? Is it done Fred Flintstones-style.

A Russian "tank" I'd love to see added to WoT
I'm now reading Chris Bellamy's excellent book on the Eastern Front in World War II, Absolute War, and he mentions that aerosani - armored sleds on skis powered by an aircraft engine with propellor in the back - fought the Germans on frozen Lake Ladoga during the siege of Leningrad. Imagine tooling ...

I'll do it again this Saturday but someone needs BFRM powers to get rid of the idiots.

Re: Track of the day
Finally got around to seeing the movie Silver Linings Playbook, and I was blown away by this song from it. I had no idea Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash had sung together. This song - Girl from the North Country - defines the phrase: a cold, hard beauty. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqD6m55mTGU[/...

Re: BF42 reunion this Saturday?
Clay Aiken was originally famous for being a singer that was a runner-up on American Idol. These days he's in the news because he was involved in a close political race that he subseqeuntly won because his opponent fell and died in a household accident.

It's more fun to read your Day Z forum posts than it is to play Day Z.

BF42 reunion this Saturday?
Seems like it's been a while since the JiF clan met as a large group for fun and merriment. How about a few maps of BF42 this Saturday, 7 pm EST? I'd be up for BF42 mods, BG42 or BF3 too, but I'm not sure everyone has those. Been a while since I heard that Karden crow.

WoT 9.0 - historical battles
I've been playing Mr. Mom lately while my wife is out of town (it's why I haven't been on Elder Scrolls Online, boys). But every once in a while I'll play a battle or two of World of Tanks. Well, today I see a new update is out that introduces historical battles - i.e., nation vs nation. They are do...
