yes i agree with you there. Each subject does need a fair amount of work, but some more than others. I would just upgrade if i were you. 7 is basically vista but edited slightly, it runs on the same framework as vista so there is 'nothing new' in the way it runs as such. Also, when it comes out on 22nd Oct, there will be a few updates as its been out on technet/education since aug 15th.

Vmware virtual server is good for free, or if you want, download the trial of Workstation and buy/download a serial. Its amazing software and is recommended. You can snapshot your VMs, choose how many cores they can have and all sorts.

Seadogs (Now known as Dim.Dom) is back online! Yes, I'm rubbish but the good thing is now I have an OS that runs BF1942 a little better than Vista. Winbloze 7 RTM and it doesnt crash (that often...)!

64 bit license didnt cost me a penny just £5 for the disc, going to give it a whirl at the weekend, desktop needs a good flattening once in a while. mines a custom build... But it is running on a slow HDD which may have caused le problems.
