Do you have a controller other than a mouse hooked up to your PC,like joystik?
Mine did the same thing on Borderlands because i had joystik hooked up for BF42.

I tested both Hard Drives in a secondary PC and could not get it to detect either drive. It had no problem redetecting the one i took out of it. I am now unplugging it for the night. Yep i went in and tried the default settings,same results. I also noticed in the Bios there is no SATA slots showing up,it's all IDE.
