Do you have a controller other than a mouse hooked up to your PC,like joystik?
Mine did the same thing on Borderlands because i had joystik hooked up for BF42.

I tested both Hard Drives in a secondary PC and could not get it to detect either drive. It had no problem redetecting the one i took out of it. I am now unplugging it for the night. I guess both Hard Drives are dead,some odds on that,1 million to 1? At this point i feel like using my PC for target ...

Yep i went in and tried the default settings,same results. I also noticed in the Bios there is no SATA slots showing up,it's all IDE. I do have one IDE slot but it's always been hooked up to one of my DVD-RW drive. The SATA has always been my hard drive and secondary CD drive. When i get home i'm go...

I picked up BF3 last night along with a 500GB hard drive. Went home and plugged in new hard drive with an XP boot disc.
