Different problem than crashing or being unable to spawn...

I can't get onto the server at all now.

In the console it says 'server uses different class tables'...

Hey-- I've joined the server twice now and it seems to be stuck on the random class end of game deal. You join, but you are dead and can't spawn. There is no time left and nothing happens. I was able to change the map and get things going again... Might put a crimp in new people playing if they can'...

This is on my Christmas list now...

Does a graphics accelerator do a lot? Are they expensive?

Might have to pick up a second video card on the next few months as well

I have to say the JiF server is a ghost town unpopulated by ghosts even

I tried it for a few minutes on some other server, but it just wasn't the same.

I am excited about the new PC and a little surprised everything is working

I like the monitor quite a bit.

Sly was making fun of me for playing BF on the new rig. Nobody is playing TF2 though, and I have not ventured into BF2 much yet.

I can't seem to get my punkbuster updated.

I tried downloading it to the specified folder and I tried the PBsetup and i still get kicked.

Anybody have instructions in little words that I would understand? Not sure what my problem is.

Everything seems to be working now...with Vista no less.

I could not get HL2 to run. Then I realized I had not installed drivers for the video card. Actually, it was not using the video card at all. Tried HL2 and TF2 both work great.

2 days of working on this, but happy now.

Good advice-that's when all of you guys are in bed--I live in Oregon.
