If you don't chew them thoroughly you'll see them again.

Re: Map Requests for Rotation
While I agree that playing Baytown is about as exciting as watching paint dry, having all maps in rotation is the way to go IMHO. Granted sometimes a boring map will clear the server but a dead server is often a short-lived condition. One possible alternative is to have all of the maps in rotation b...

Re: Map Requests for Rotation
If you ask 10 players what their favorite map is you'll get 10 different answers. Same for least-favorite map. Trying to identify which map(s) to leave out of rotation is next to impossible. Map preferences change over time. By leaving all maps in rotation you guarantee that everyone will play his/h...

Re: Map Requests for Rotation
All of the maps released by EA should be in rotation. BF1942, RtR and SW as well as the maps that shipped with the updates.

Daterminaytah, Bonedaddy and love on the high seas
There was an incident last night on the server which might be perceived as bad conduct on my part. I’d like to give a full accounting of my actions to ensure there aren’t any misunderstandings. It was a comedy of errors without malice. The map was Midway at approximately 0400 GMT. (10pm Central US)....

Re: BFVietnam
I did not like the BFV expansion. I uninstalled it about a month it came out and I haven't touched it since. I'm still waiting for EA to refund my money. I think the EOD mod for BF1942 is better than the BFV expansion hands down. The mod is still active (they still release new versions from time to ...

Re: I know where you can park that hybrid...
The MPG rating on a Hybrid is far from stellar. Furthermore I have issues with rolling the mileage achieved under electric power into an MPG calculation. Two different fuel sources require two different calculations. If the MPG were calculated on gas consumption alone the rating would be even lower....

I frequently come across Miko & Starbuck together in buildings. Just laying there. I figure it's none of my business.

Re: Tank duels
The write-up in that link is based on v1.2. In dog years that's like the dark ages. - The thickest armor on the tank is the front. A nose-to-nose battle implies you and your opponent are fast approaching one another or that you've closed the distance and are now face-to-face. This is a position you ...

Re: Pirates or 1918
I play Pirates from time to time when I want to take a break. It's a mod from some insanely creative developers and absolutely hilarious to play. The side effect from running around with a musket in Pirates is that my aim better with an automatic rifle in 1942. Never played 1918. Can't run DC for th...

Yep. I was a member of The Unmanageables which was in the 3FL. We never migrated to BFCL. WoW came out and that was all she wrote for most. I recall JiF was contemplating joining 3FL for a while.[JiF]KellysHero wrote:Hey Bone,

Hello
Hi guys.
Just popped in to say hello and to thank JiF for hosting a BF42 server. A nice bunch to game with and a well-run server.
